These local authorities continue to manage and support TRION-climate e.V. The network currently has almost one hundred members.

Purpose

The purpose of the association is to promote environmental protection through cross-border synergy effects in the field of climate and energy in the Trinational Metropolitan Upper Rhine Region (Statute §2.2).

The common goal is to create a network of energy and climate actors across borders, to promote the exchange of knowledge and experience, to support tri-national data collection and to create a platform for exemplary cross-border projects.
